So a webcomic fan encounters a "how I draw my comic" filler on one of his reads, and says to himself "Hey! I could do that!" and proceeds to draw.

That's this author's story. Halo Party is the result -- the author's journey through different styles and a cliche premise -- College roomates with a cute yet strong-willed animal that talks.
