Synopsis:
The goal of GRIM is to retell old stories (at the moment focusing on Grimm’s fairy tales) with strong new illustrations for a modern audience. Each story will express the core narrative while removing the gender assumptions and biases coloring the original tales. Gender equality is an important issue of our time and it is important that media (especially children’s media) no longer continues to reflect heavy gender stereotypes and roles.

GRIM is a project created by Gabriel Night an illustrator and artist who lives in Essex Jct., Vermont.
