This is the guiding law of the Alpha-Beta System. The consequences are dire for all those involved if an Alpha does not follow this rule.
Despite the warnings hammered into her from the day she was born, Chris is fighting the Alpha-Beta System\'s central law. Yet with every step she takes onto the streets outside the Alpha Academy, she risks finding her Beta and becoming just another pawn in the Alpha-Beta System.
