Synopsis:
“Three Dollar Bill” honors the geek-duo trope with goofy brothers Shadow and Trent. Only Matos really keeps his webcomic in the family. The somewhat dim-bulb Shadow is based on himself, right down to the one green eye and one blue eye that reflect Matos’ own heterochromia, while the slightly sharper Trent is somewhat based on Matos’ older brother. Shadow’s wife Snow (based on Matos’ wife) and their talking pet turtle Tortie (based on Matos’ silent pet turtle of the same name) round out the “Three Dollar” crew.
