Synopsis:
The world looked just how we remember it. William Jefferson Clinton was our new President. Grunge was breaking through to mainstream. Cell phones were a novelty item. Then came 1992 and everything changed. People on the fringe of society started waking up with strange abilities unknown to previous generations outside comic books. But these were not heroes. They were people, filled with all the worries, troubles, hatred, and love of regular man. They did not ask for this. They did not want it. They are Variables.
