Synopsis:
\'onestory\' is a webcomic hosted on dpsite.net and created by Dave Pottrell. The webcomic was founded on 10th August 2007 and has been hosting its comic since 15th August 2007. The webcomic was originally started as a side project of dpsite, under the name \'dpcomic\'. However the name was later changed to match the comics style more. (dpcomic just didn\'t seem like a good name..)
The actual style of the comics varies from time to time depending on each situation the characters are placed in. Each comic is based on actual events and/or ideas given to the author and drawn in Adobe Photoshop. A small number of comic strips do not always have a clear storyline, these strips are likely to use an awkward silence after (or instead of) the actual punchline, such strips involve the characters staring at each other in silence for a long period of time.

The webcomics involves the lives of five main characters based on the author and close friends. As well as the main characters are six recurring characters that play small parts in the comic and help out with the storyline. The webcomics frequently make use of metafiction with characters acknowledging their roll in a webcomic and talking about their situation.

Unlike many other webcomics onestory follows a very simple drawing style. Characters are often given a very basic triangler shape and rarely have their names mentioned in the comic. They are usually only distinguishable by the colours of their shirts and hair styles.
