Synopsis:
a squid-like alien with a cute-faced suit from a planet where dishonesty is the norm, aquires a space ship and (dishonestly) the use of an engineer. The engineer turns out to be a Bowman Wolf genetic experiment complete with her canine loyalty. Lots of robots with free will and full of interesting sci-fi. |

Epic sci fi storytelling featuring a repair-your-own-spaceship story, planetary colonization and terraforming, interspecies relations of all kinds, thorough discourses on AI and free will, a looming robot genocide conspiracy, while not refraining from dragging out hilarious chases over dozens of pages. The art is minimalistic, but clean and consistent, and I think only spoilt brats would call it bad. With the exception of feet. That guy probably could not draw anatomically plausible feet - mind you with shoes on and rendered as a basic outline - if his life depended on it. There is little information about him, but he hinted on different occasions that he is working as an engineer in an industrial plant, married, and also had some health issues but I wish him all the best and hope he is OK now. |

Bad Art
Great plot
clever and witty.
Earlier stuff more funny
Later stuff more philosophically clever. |

Good world building and interesting characters. A bit slow moving but worth the patience. One of the better webcomics I have found. |

Silly situations, interesting characters, simple, clean yet expressive artwork... that's Freefall. Stories are paced slowly, but it's hard to advance very fast with three three-panel strips per week... |
