Google pointed me to this: https://www.facebook.com/DrunkDuckcomics/posts/637716232929451
Looks like that's their most recent update on the issue.

Well at least we know they are on it.

Thankfully Culture Shock also runs its own page, so I'm not worried to be missing anything.

They're still down?
I'd assumed they'd have been back up by now.

It would be a ridiculously long time if we were talking about an independent site, but we're not. Why according to that update do they appear to be relying on a volunteer to fix things? Can't their parent company afford to sort this out at all?

Excluding promoting other parts of the company, they've updated their twitter account nine times ince going down on the 15th of August and responded to absolutely nobody.

One of their domains is up, featuring just a single image with no explanation. Forwarding it onto their Facebook would be better than that. It's just a terrible way to run a business. Details about what's going on are scarce and they're missing deadlines for when things will be back and then saying nothing about it for days.

Personally, I think it's time for anyone still hosting there to find somewhere new.

Maybe it's kind of like how most comic reach a point where the creator just gives up and stops updating. Well, the comic hosting site just gave up and stopped working.

The problem with that is how all their readers don't know about their other site.

That's why it helps to establish other outlets ahead of time. Obviously the comic authors can't do that now, but if you can create a following on Facebook, then in the very least someone could google the comic name and find out where to go.

I found some more info btw.

I'd be surprised that this is still going on, except I am actually surprised this trainwreck didn't happen sooner. Shocked
