Is there any webcomic competition or place on the internet where we can showcase our webcomic to a wide audience?

any clue?

I dunno about competitions, but... if you're not already mirroring your comic on display sites, check these out:

http://drunkduck.com
http://comicfury.com
http://www.smackjeeves.com/

And if you haven't already, sign up for Just The First Frame which can get you extra traffic.

I'm using Just the First Frame, I think it is a cool concept and I get some hits from there every now and then...

I do my own hosting. Is it really worth it doing the mirror in comic Fury or similar? I kind of feel lazy on reconstructing my website structure there, but on the other hand the promise of extra traffic is appealing!

Cheers from the Hippo

Thanks for the advices ! I'm already on several websites. They're all pretty cool and you just realize how many webcomics there are out there.

But I kinda think the general audience would like many of those webcomics (and not only the good ol' XKCD) if they had the opportunity to actually read them on big websites. Let's face it, all those webcomic websites of ours are pretty geeky no ?
