Hi everybody. As the topic says, if you are one of those artists who upload your work on Facebook fan page in additional to your own sites please post away! I personally find it easy to follow someone's work if it shows up on my news feed from time to time. Here's mine;

Here's mine. I don't actually upload the images to Facebook, I just link to new pages on my website.

My site has two webcomics on it, one by me and another by my friend. So we decided to share a Facebook page for them. Most of our "likes" are from friends and family that probably don't even read the comics. But oh well.

I'm terrible at social media so I usually don't remember to make a post on my Facebook page until I'm trying to get to sleep.

We generally post pictures and concept art and sneek peeks from time to time, but as far as posting the actually webcomic pages... we do NOT.

Mainly cause we shoot to get people to our site so that when they are done with that comic that they were interested in, they have a chance to view some of our other comics that are just as liked.

If you'd like to add us on Facebook I would love to add you back on yours! We're always looking to expand.

I think this is a pretty cool idea.

My webcomic's Facebook link is https://www.facebook.com/pages/Doppelganger-Comic/452022054868737

We've been up about a month and a half, and to be honest so far I haven't found it to be an amazing tool, but it's pretty cool to let your friends know when you update. Not to mention that if we ever decide to invest in some facebook advertising it would definitely be useful.

To be entirely fair, we don't upload the webcomic images directly onto the Facebook page - the format doesn't work so well. It's more 'graphic novel' style than 'comic strip.' Part weakness, part vagary of the audience, I suppose. I don't mind.

I do have a Fb page too. It's a cool way to see your community grow though it's hard for people to like the page even if they like the comic:

My wife has been posting Ninja Pea updates in Facebook for about a year, it seems to work ok, but we would love to have more followers!

I only put the link of my webcomic ( www.faroutcomic.com ) on my facebook page, but I upload a lot of stuff like artworks or sketches.

I'm adding all of these.

As for me: Like others here, we don't post the comics themselves on Facebook but we do post links to updates. Other things that get put up on there are previews, any fan art we receive and other extra content related to the comic.

I can't recommend this enough. If you want people to read your comics, then post them to Facebook! Don't make people click back to you site!

Since putting up my Facebook site, I've gotten 600 likes in the last 2 weeks and it's now my number 1 source of traffic.

I just went back and added links to the pages that updated before it was properly archiving in the comments of the original announcements. I won't link the images, but I do update every time my comic does.

Well, the next morning. I'm usually asleep when it updates.
