Oh definitely have experienced/ am experiencing this. Sister is a successful financial analyst for an aeronautics company, and my mother is a teacher. But I moved out a few years ago with a few other friends. They all have nice 9-5 jobs, and they enjoy it.
Here I am working 2 part time jobs, taking a class, and trying to draw a webcomic. Just saying can't help but feel a little left behind/struggling to find my place, even questioning my whole life plan frequently. We webcomic artists usually don't get 2 days off in the week, when we don't work to support ourselves we work to support our "work". It does get a little lonely when pursuing a creative endeavor.
I know doing a webcomic isn't for the faint of heart, and that trying to sustain oneself off of a webcomic has pretty much everything stacked against them. But at the same time I've never been so motivated and frustrated (lol), but in a good way. I love to draw and I have stories I want to create.
