Hey Sean, Spying With Lana Year One: Declassified just arrived, and it's a real nice-lookin' print job, the online images are cool but they don't quite do justice to the actual comic. And the extra insert is eye-popping. My better half thought I'd ordered porn, I told her no, this is better than porn.

The color in the last couple pages is really spectacular. A cool balance of subtle, detailed gradients and line/texture work.

Okay, actually it's not. I don't remember what day exactly that I started them, but it was some time in early October, so now that it's late October it's definitely been more than a year.

I'm just saying.

Ooh man those four recent fight scene panels in Lana are ace--really feeling those hits. Normally I'd say the radial blur effect would be overdoing it, but the whole thing was really spot on.

PS - anyone who hasn't gotten Spying with Lana: Year One yet needs to be smacked. The web version doesn't do it justice!!!

My ladyfriend enjoyed it even!!!! lol

Thank you! I like playing with different types of blurring to try to add a little drama or sense of motion to pictures, if possible.
